• SETUP

Implementation after finishing the planning phase entails purchasing equipment, installation and setup of said equipment by a qualified technician. Network Operating systems must be installed and necessary networking applications added to this base.

The network diagram that was created in Plan service serves as a blueprint for the network setup. It helps us to begin setting up the network, and it helps your business understand how the network is being laid out. To preserve the accuracy of the network diagram, necessary changes are made to the diagram as the network evolves or changes.

To setup the network, we help your business:

• Purchase network devices (based on configurations) and software.

• Wire the office or building (if needed).

• Select a broadband service provider and subscribe appropriate service for the Internet needs of your business.

Once these tasks are completed, the network setup process can begin based on the computing needs of your business. A functional network marks the completion of Setup service. Many businesses consider Support and Security services at this point. It should be noted that Setup service is available exclusively to the businesses that participated in Plan service. • SUPPORT

Once the network Setup or Redesign is completed, necessary support should be provided to keep it running smoothly.

A network support typically includes the following tasks, in addition to performing general inspection of the network on a regular basis:

• Apply current service packs, rollup packages and hot-fixes to operating systems and applications.

• Update anti-virus definitions and other products.

• Upgrade network devices BIOS.

• Backup critical data files regularly and restore them when required.

• Upgrade network devices when they cause bottlenecks.

• Install and configure or uninstall software (i.e. applications).

• Install and configure or uninstall hardware (i.e. network devices).

• Expand/change network layout as your business expands/changes.

• Assist your business to repair or replace non-functioning network devices.

• Work with broadband service provider when required (e.g. when your business experiences Internet connectivity problems).

Many businesses consider Security service at this point to lower the network and data vulnerability.
 

• REDESIGN

As a business grows and/or restructures there may be a need to redesign its network if it starts to adversely affect the business.

A proper network design is essential in almost every aspect of any business, including its productivity. A network that is not planned and setup properly can cause serious problems, such as sporadic network crashes and unacceptable slowness.
